Use of Conventions

My project uses the conventions of other magazines from the same genre. The cover features a single athlete who is the dominant subject of the page. It it very colorful so it grabs your attention and sparks your interest. Along the side of the featured athlete there is a list of headings of some of the main articles of the magazine, a tactic used in a lot of professional magazines. My magazine represents the social groups of young teen athletes as well as sports fans in general.
